This isn't exactly Angie's List.  On Angie's List you get reviews from consumers who by and large - especially on big jobs - have just one experience and can only evaluate the experience through the eyes of a consumer.  

I'm not putting down Angie's List, it is a wonderful service and I recommend it.  I'm not a competitor, I don't earn a nickel from this page.
I offer it as a free service to my thousands of clients over the years and anyone else who may find themselves here.
The professionals and contractors pay nothing to be listed here.  

In my 27 years in architecture, engineering, home and building inspection, construction-related binding arbitration and consumer experience I've had the opportunity to see home projects from many different points of view.  I've seen the work of many contractors over the years.
I've worked in one capacity or another with everyone on this list, most for more than 10 years, several more than 20; and nearly all of them have worked more than once in my own home and the homes of members of my family.
